I READ A LOVE POEM

I read a love poem,
and it spoke of pain.

Against fates odds
it did explain.

Of hate and love,
just the same.

It spoke...
It rhymed...

Of love defined

A perilous journey
................................tart
....................................to
...............................sweet

Like cheese
Like wine

Yes,
I read a love poem.

It turned my hips and mind.

Tales of trips
....................Sentiments

lies by pictures,
........................neglected

Hidden by shame
...........................by time.

I read this love poem.

It spoke,
and it said;

She was not forever

Even tides evaporate
giving way...
to salty wastelands,
wide.

Whilst fresh summer green succombs,
to a faded blue autumns day.

I fell in love with the love poem.

Indeed,
Indeed I did.

Because I didn't listen,
to the simplicity...
the simple sanity,
of what it said.

That love poem slathered acrylic
reds
greens
yellows
on my aching head

painting love bird's perched atop

some electric fence

Then dabbled in some
feather's
falling from the flesh.

There should have never been a doubt
in tow, to lead me to deceive

that should I perch atop that fence,
this the end,
would be.

Oh I read that love poem

and that poem was ablaze,
cauterizing human hearts,
with smells of Sunday's best.

for love has fallen from it's
perch, smoldering
upon winter's gray
...............................a firey
neurotic
mess

And I kept on reading that love poem
but it did me no good at all.

It was a one sided romance...

A dying leaf swimming freely
in a brownish foggy pond

Requests for second chances, all
appeals have been denied.

Just another begger
in a
bank

that has no cash to bare

Yes I read a love poem

And to my astonishment...

as if printed words
could screech,

a somber beckoning call,

from
that crinkled page
That silly little poem said

You...
.......knew not
......................Love
At all...

POUR SENTIR MECONNU

These are my words,
soft and sheltered in solitude.

These are my words,
spiraling.
amidst the the fires,
Centrifugal and ragged.

Can you hear my words
through your shroud.

See my lips stiffen, a repose,
just a star's flicker from endless
discussion.

Are these nothing but word's,
Baritone sentiment's dancing
on windows, raining down
on peeved passersby.

Whether they find passage
into your disposition,
or met with defiance.

I will not abdicate
that which is deservedly mine

As with your wishes,
Ever vacillating,
I do bow.

Should you kneel
wheat to wind

That these are my words,
perpetually here,

utterances
without end.

LA LETTERA A UN AMICO

Follow the yellowish hue
to summer's slumber,
around the dunes bending
blades,
onto chilled, stiffened sands
to eternities awaiting ocean.

Welcoming blues, and winds...
Where wishes and needs blend
and bestow gusts of wanting.

Relish virgin faces, tender youthful kisses.
Long not for what is to come
next season.

Fall lasts but for a moment in yellows, oranges
and browns.

Savor the bitter taste of lasting memories,
so sweet to be a neophyte on traveled ground.

Ignorant
and in love,
with love itself

Calling to forgotten ears,
who know what season's bring,
that intimacy is more a gentle breeze,

than a tempest's breathe.

Decorticate,
and bare witness
to the newness of his flesh.

Bathe yourself in lavender and
verisimilitude.

Till next season shines a golden hue,

and in that reverent brightness,

Love will be for the sake of you.

PROVINCETOWN BEACHES

Beach grass tightened around his finger,
sands whispering truths to be told...
I am an ocean my love,
and oceans
don't wait for dreams to bare.
We are a strong lot,
amongst weaker waters,
Our heavings high,
capped with heavenly white wishes,
shall share no burden of love,
less,
that burden is bore as one.

And to you my soul is given,
whilst firey sands
turn to glass.

Shimmering we,

against subtle blue
folded in,
by crystal green hints of joy,
far from the murky transient lust

to our content,

meet...

Grass and Sea.

This poem is dedicated to my Brother who is engaged to be married as of this weekend.
I wish he and his future wife all the love in my heart and more.

on eternal values, sanctified

PASSIONE SU PASSIONE SU LUSSURIA

Passione is a personal piece written to express my feeling on the
constant undulation of the sexual appetite.

In the darkness
Your eyes blaze
and I sense silk between satin.
Moment upon moment lost,
Forever ablaze on firey sand.

A look, just a fleeting stage
Where love amongst lust,
displays.

Towards a touch,
as touch commands

A restless longing.
A forgetful mourning.

Between woman and man.

So lay you by oak.
So lay you by land.

Shall there be but a moment,
in the dark,
Amongst firey eyes.

Where glass returns to sand.

I NEED YOUR PAIN

To what do we lend to our need for pain, our need for turmoil. The Yin and the Yang of love
is so necessary an evil that one can't deny. As much as I predicate my poems with the stories of being devastated emotionally, I can not pass on full blame, for I am as much a part of the storm as the wind is to the rain.

I can simmer in sunlight
and damn it does me justice
But I need pain on a stormy night.
That kinda pain, that keeps,
Dreams from takin shape...
Yah those sleepless nights.
I invite them in,
cause their long lost friends,
and long lost friends,
are best when you reunite.
Hail poppin, rain droppin
Words like wine
How devine an orchestration,
my pain becomes.
Through simple verbs
and orgasmic rhythms...
My tempest arrives.

A MI AMIGO, SIEMPRE

Though short, I believe "a mi amigo, siempre" poses a very interesting question;
When people fall out of love, yet they still feel so deeply about each other, how does
one express that love from afar?

If not for my shadow,
I would have fallen long ago,
Amongst towering pines,
and oceans breadth.
So to be a shadow in return,
brings me no sorrow.
To know I give love in darkness...
Amongst shadows that too yearn.

WHERE TOMORROW BEGINS

This piece, well this piece I will leave to the reader to interpret.
I will post my motivation later this week...Enjoy!!!

Two points
Pointing away
with motion
into motion,
against my despair.
I fold in
and out,
a shapeless heathen,
Amongst beauty...
Amongst life.
Circular numeric journeys
unravel,
always the same, never the same.
no ocean ,
by its own swells
prevail.
Against this wicked man.
Chance upon chance
I decline,
pleasure shall not be bestowed,
not even by last midnight...

This horrid design.

Arms reaching...
Ever reaching.
Legs,
but greedy sticks...

Molasses bound in shame and fright.

To what end...

Where there can be no cause,
for end in sight.

It shall always be...

Two points,

Pointing.
Pointing away.

CON LOS OJOS ABIERTOS QUE NO SE VE

A very relevant poem to my longing to shift from being a boy to a man. I had a recent love that lasted for years, and as with many romantic scenario's I lost my identity. For so long I had afforded
myself the confidence in the decisions I was making, and bathed in the confidence that bore. However I could not defend against the constant berating and impetuous insults. Finally in the end I had no real sense of who I was until, in just the right moment the universe gave me, or rather offered me the chance to experience someone new. And with the fear of failure my previous interest tried to instill, I pushed forward, ever so slowly opening myself to the notion that I was far greater than I had allowed myself to believe. With the weight of a dying love off my shoulders, my confidence started welling up, and with the assistance of a new friend, I found I had always been a man, I was just to soaked in fear that had been bathed upon me for so long to let him free...
This poem should help those heal you have lost themselves, and are in desperate need of the power
that will help them push forward.

I wake this day with vigour
Warm breathe bathing my skin
a beauty and sin.
Naked lust with sly lips,
floating across my chest
She is...
my deliverance from childhood.
Confidence that blue is an oceans calling
None, not rotted arrows slung
nor putrid scent from devil's lips
Shall breed tortuous doubt.

Fear fades with white sands in wind
As the messenger commands
To soak in oceans where there were deserts,
Just moments in the dryer past.

Against eager motion of waving in delight.
Loose silky attire first must caress my
milk chocolate skin.
Draped for readiness, I now begin.
Prepared for bluer skies quest,
one that is weighed by action,
as each action begins.
I sense insecurity with every assault
Badgering sensible advice
Guiding through every choice.

By this a boy becomes a man.

Every thought now,
my balanced banquet between...
love and greed
Tastefully expressing wine lists
Purchasing by want nor need
A final guarantee
I shall ever bathe in the bluest of blue
toes dipped deep in tanner sands, until liquid fades.
Showered by oceans heavings in appreciation.
For the gratifying knowledge,
I finally deserve.

REGRET I WILL NOT

We have all had bad relationships, and romance gone awry. I truly believe if you put the pain to one side you can clearly understand all the lessons provided to you. A better understanding of the mistakes you could have avoided. Now I say you because, there is no reason to focus on what someone else did wrong, that is no path to self realization. Heed the words of others, but don't take them as fact. Only you know ,truly, where you have made error.

I shall feel no shame.
For shame itself,
directs me to no better a position.
Whether by injustice I did serve you
or that injustice did serve ourselves.
Love beckoned under satin sheets,
Without design for malice to bare.
So shame should be less regret,
Than moments lost.
Too not have bathed in for but a moment,
your brief caress.

WELCOME OVERSTAYED

Welcome overstayed has the same feel as Good Morning, almost more part of a Jazz song than a poem. It tells the story of a woman who falls in love fast but can't handle the reality behind the responsibility of love. So she panics and tries to remove it all together.

Evacuate

Get out

Evacuate

Doesn't feel right
So I can't wait
I know i said ev...er..y...thing's.....okay
You should have known
my words...
Al...ways change

Evacuate
Evacuate

Storms gettin close
and I can't wait

Your gettin too close
You just can't stay.

GOOD MORNING

Good Morning is a observation I made in one of my past relationships. Where there was
deep love and passion, there was still a sense that something was missing that only time could provide. So as much as the erotic sex was enjoyable, I had to accept at some point there would
have to be a reckoning, an established expression that sex wasn't enough.

Evolutionary
EXTRAORDINARY...
Come to senses,
Gonna be exploratory...
Each time, each time
You know our shit stops on a dime.

Each time.

That's revolutionary
That is
EXTRAORDINARY...
And no that shit don't change,
even as the game...
DOES.
Well that is something that ain't ordinary.

Time to turn on the lights,
And say Good Morning.

SORRIDERE NEL CONCERTO

With every passing of one romance, there is a longing for a new pleasure. To find a physical connection. Albeit one can always retain a powerful sexual and passionate connection with a previous lover though no real outlet is entertained. This poem lives between those to worlds where old lust
and new lust meet.

The instruments wielded
Melody...
Of no particular order
no cohesive form.
Whisper excitement
Ever so gently
across my lobes.
Anticipation for the melodic orgy
That is to consume our minds,
ensnare our bodies
How my torso revels
at the smile encased in porcelain
Your lobes
Ever so eager for the attention.
Vibrating
to the unorganized orchestration.
I smile, as smiles before call forth
unexpected joy.
That these earthly sounds
may pose upon our souls.
The instruments...
Their tunes blending...
We absorbing.
Taking each note,
with Sensual care.
Leaving nothing unrewarded.
Lest we neglect our moment,
To smile in concert.

A Feather Falling

This first poem I am posting tries to sum up the notion of watching a relationship
fall apart, and rather than remove yourself from a destructive and devastating
ending romance, we as human beings tend to participate to the bitter end...enjoy

A feather falling
How does it whisper
back and forth.
Trade winds are a callin now
It's time to gather up
And leave low tide behind.
I feel that feather fallin
Low above my feet now
Still the trade winds won't stop callin
And I can't stop starin
Till that feather
Falls Apart.
